Southeast region meet and greet

Some friends and I were discussing a mini meet and greet for those in the areas of Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and North and South Carolina . Would anyone in these areas be interested in this? We were discussing possible areas for the meet and so far, we have come up with Huntsville, Alabama.

I think it sounds cool....so far, there were several folks interested.....Cin, Ed, EasyType2, and Cary to name a couple. Any others interested in a mini-meet & greet? It will Not be at the same time that the big ones are going on, we're talking about in the near future (i.e. next couple of months, perhaps possibly around the holidays). Anyone??

Don't know how far Ed is prepared to travel, Dews. I'm flexible. I suggested Huntsville for his convenience. Not much touristy there other than the NASA musuem. I'm open to suggestions.

I too, am open to suggestions. Ed is pretty flexible from my understanding, but a couple of hours from any given direction seems reasonable. Again, people from all over are welcome to come, not just those in the immediate area. Huntsville was a good thought, and I'm sure folks from surrounding areas can/will provide input about where they'd like to meet as well.

I'm relatively open to suggestions of all sorts, but this is Not related to the larger meet & greet, so I don't want anyone getting confused.

I'm willing to attend, but I'm #%&@# at organizing. At present, the discussion is over some site in the Atlanta, Birmingham, Chattanooga area, but there is no reason not to have another Meet and Greet on the coast.

I live in Jacksonville Florida (or as most of us call it.....southern Georgia). Count me in as well! I'm from Tennessee so am very familiar with eastern tennessee/smokey mountains, and still visit family there several times a year. Anywhere in the south is good with me.

Huntsville and Atlanta are about the same distance for me. I had also mentioned Chattanooga to Dewey .
