Endo's in Jacksonville, FL

We are relocated next month (Sept. 07) to Jacksonville area. I would appreciate any recommendation on endocrinologists in the area. I know there is a branch of the Mayo clinic but would like to hear of any other excellent endo's, as well.

Endo's with a sense of humor would be great! (It's been a while...) I've moved over the years and have had some great doctors...and some just so/so's.

So, any suggestions out there? Moving is the worst when it comes to finding new doctors...and hair stylists!

I'm not from Jacksonville, Alice, so I can't recommend an endo to you. Just wanted to wish you good luck with the move!

Also........I believe the ADA lists endo's on their website. You might want to check that out if someone doesn't come forward with a suggestion.

Thanks Karen! Just when I get my life settled (and house decorated!)...my husband gets himself promoted and transferred...darn him! But Jax seems like a nice small southern city and I will enjoy having the beach nearby...especially in the winter!

I've had endo's in Knoxville, Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago and now needing a good one in Jax area. I could write a book...the good, the ok, and the one's that won't even look at you! (Ok, that only happened in Miami and he was a research guy...go figure!)

If anyone has a referral of endo's in Jax area, I would really appreciate them...

Wow Alice, you have moved a lot! LOL

I have a friend who lives in Jacksonville and loves it. She's been living there about 8 or 10 years now. She's an air traffic controller out of Jacksonville, not diabetic, but I can ask her if she knows of any good endo's in the area and let you know what she says.
