I was wondering how long has it been. and what you had?
I think it was Mc d's and I had 2 double cheeseburgers on 1 bun. Been almost 2 months. I remember way back when, I was doing work at three different McD's stores in 1 day and got 3 free meals.

Over a year ago and it was Taco Bell (by necessity, driving 500 miles w/ nothing to eat).. I pretty much don't eat fast food unless absolutely, positively, necessary.

Last Big Mac in March or April of 1994.
Soon after that I underwent by-pass surgery and then became vegetarian. Never look back.
Tried Taco Bell vegetarian stuff a couple of times last year, too much carbs, so good bye to that too. Occasionally a pizza slice.

Tim Horton's yesterday - yummie Dutchie Donut AND a cheese croissant. 72 carbs. Forgot to take insulin with me. Spiked from 7.2 to 21.2 mmol! I only did it as I had just recovered from a nasty stomach bug during which I could not eat for several days and I could not resist celebrating. Besides I felt weak - that's my excuse.
That's it for another while though.

Almost two fridays ago, I had a 10 piece nugget and apple dippers without the dipper sauce...from Mcd's I eat fast food once or twice a month, if that.....oh yea, and about five french fries to give in on the craving LOL....

Two nights ago. I had a leg and a thigh with 1/2 cup mashed potatoes and a bit of gravy, 1/2 cup of cole slaw, and a biscuit from KFC. It was soooo good! I had a very stressful day and it was such a comfort. We eat Wendy's or Subway, sometimes Taco Bell, about 2x a month. The chicken didn't seem to hurt too much, I was a little higher than normal, 2 hours later, but was good before I went to bed.

If you had asked me before last Thursday, I would have told you I didn't remember. I actually went to the hospital to see my Mom and I was hungry. I circled the block twice and could only find a Carl's Jr. I had a burger and fries. Ok fine.....now I admitted it. I will never do it again.

For me it was Taco Bell/Pizza Hut (I had the pizza) and it was last night. Yumm yumm. And I'll have some tomorrow for at least one meal. Not sure where or what I'll have though.

Last month we stopped at a Wendy's after some shopping and I had a cheeseburger and half of hubby's fries. I had some pizza from Dominoe's a week or so ago...but I never really think of pizza as fast food. I LOVE taco bell, and chick filet. But I don't do the fast food thing too often. I'd just as soon eat at home.
I just ate a bunch of chicken wings with a pint of beer.. Had no insulin with me either!! Had some as soon as I got home half an hour later and was already up to 7.6... Other than that I sometimes have wendy's chili and a salad.. but think that doesn't really count as it is quite good and reasonably low carb..
The wings were quite good....

I don't like fast food that much. I think one of the last times I had fast food was at In-N-Out in California (about 3 months ago). I truly wish they had In-N-Out here.
EDIT: I take that back.. the last fast food I ate was Whataburger. Whataburger can't compete with In-N-Out ;)

Once a week or to a restaurant, usually
Saturday. Last Sat. I had a 6" Turkey,
bacon, ham, swiss cheese with lettuce,
black and green olives, cucumbers, with
caesar dressing on a monteray bun, from
Subway. I stuck my Insulin and meter
cases in my purse as usual and took my
shot on the way. :)
The Sun. before that we went to the
Chinese Buffet outta town.

About 10 days ago, had a Wendy's double w/cheese, and ate just the patty/cheese with a knife and fork when I got home. It was after a tough karate class, and man, that protein never tasted so good ;)

Hmmm.............I don't eat fast food very often, but I think the last food item I had was a slice of pizza that my son brought home from Papa Gino's a few weeks ago.

This morning...took the kids out to McDonald's for breakfast before school. We're out of milk and cereal and instead of being a good mom and going to the store early this morning, I figured McD's would be faster, easier, and it's not something they get a lot. :)
It definitely looked better than the breakfasts that they were serving at the school. The kids who eat breakfast at school were getting limp waffle sticks, cranberry-applesauce, and milk. I can't believe people actually pay to eat breakfast at school...that stuff looked like ****! (Only reason we went into the cafeteria at the school was because I had to put money in the girls' lunch accounts...thinking about it now though, if breakfast was that bad, I'm wondering if they shouldn't just bring lunch to school from now on!)

This morning I had McDonald's for breakfast as well.
I eat out wayyyy too much. I know I should eat healthier but its so much easier to eat out.
I love me my fast food.

At my granddaughter's elementary school, they had poptarts or donuts and milk and juice for breakfast, and it wasn't cheap! This makes it hard for me to insist the kid needs to eat a healthy breakfast when the school is serving junk. I would much rather they were eating Micky D's egg sandwiches.

Lord help me, I'm such a fast food junkie. But I really do try to stay away from it. . . Now that having been said
This week I haven't been too bad. Only had Mickey D's susage burrito once - my absolute favorite, and yesterday for lunch I had a Wendy's Frescata club sandwich - somewhat healthy - right???
A few days ago - KFC for dinner. Chicken, chips, and gravy. I'm fine eating KFC if I don't eat the chips, but this time I had some and went in for a second helping. DUH. I jabbed for it but not enough... big time spike!
Lesson learnt. Wont stop me doing it again though lol - being on insulin I should be able to eat anything. It's never that simple, but if I fancy take-out then I try my best and generally get it right. Home made it always so much more reliable.

I occasionally order a McD's single hamburger, no cheese. Only about 30 carbs. Not a big deal and a quick lunch when needed.
The Asian Broiled chicken salad is pretty good, but with all the extras...it's 45 carbs. About the same as a Big Mac.
I don't like McD's overall due to the amount of sodium they add to the food. Not so much due to carbs. I can find a reasonable carb item easily.
I haven't had fast food for almost 2 years now...since diagnosis 10/12/07 (prior to that I was a junkie to it). I do eat out often...but I since I am controlling with diet and exercise I need to be able to go someplace where I can special order most things and have some vegs. Plus....I really LOVE being waited on and served :D

I carry a pamplet book thing in my purse called "Nutrition in the Fast Lane" It breaks down fast food items for carbs, proteins, etc. Very handy. Though I've had more fast food in the last month than I'd like to say (we need to go grocery shopping very badly!) I usually stick to Subway or Wendy's (I love how you can get a salad instead of fries with the value meals!).

I ate fast food last night! MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Mmm. Fajita Pita Chicken sandwich at Jack in the Box on Saturday.
We were driving down the Owens Valley on 395 returning from a week in Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite. NO SNOW on the backs of the Sierras!! Wow, it's very dry out here I've never seen so little snow in September!
We had a bear bite into a box of wood we left under our camper. He must have had a lousy sense of smell! He rocked our camper trying to reach the wood. Yikes!

Yesterday, Wendy's Mandarin orange and chicken salad and a large chili....Hubby and I share them. He gets fries too, but even if I could eat them, I don't like Wendy's fries. That is the 2nd fast food in a week, but we had a rough day yesterday.

i had a nandos wrap on the way to art class last night.
i was going to get their chicken ribs which have only 2g of carbs - but i had just had a session with my diabetes educator who said i needed to be a bit "less tight" about my BGL's.
i am still learning..........
