these last few weeks i just dont fancy eating anything at all, i'm only eating because i have to.
i normally love my food so much but i just really dont feel like eating at all. my BG's are fine and nothing else seems to be going on, i feel fine. just not in the mood for food.
just seems weird.

Sharon, that is a problem I wish I had more often! :D But, it has happened to me before. Usually, I just am tired of fooling with food, don't want to worry about the what and how. I don't get depressed often, but figured out not wanting to eat always comes with a "down" time. Are you a little depressed right now? As long as your BS is ok, I would just go with it, just so it doesn't last too long....then maybe talk to your doctor about it.

thanks penny.
depression isnt something i really suffer with thankfully.
i sometimes feel uninspired in the kitchen when life is a bit hectic, when this happens i try and make myself eat healthier options rather than go for the take-outs and tv dinners. perhaps this is whats going on now. its just unusual for me to not fancy ANYTHING at all!
small mishap this morning with breakfast, usually i have cornflakes, a plain yoghurt and some ground cinnamon. reached for the pot of cinnamon gave it a few good shakes over the bowl of flakes before i realised it was cayenne pepper!!! oh ****! lol!

I have done that before! :D It is how I figured out I like spices on my cottage cheese and eggs...reached for pepper and got mixed spices. I am cheap, I would have eaten the cornflakes anyway. ;) I probably wouldn't have liked it, but ....

I sometimes WISH for that problem. I have noticed, however, that since the weather has been so miserably hot and dry, that I just don't want to eat.....though I could probably be persuaded to have Ice cream:T ! ...if my blood sugar would allow.
