hello people,
i've just been put on a cgms (continuous blood glucose monitoring system) by my diabetes nurse for 72 hours.
my bsls are shocking and have been for some time (my hba1c is like 8.6 - that's the first time i've told that on here), mostly due to the extreme lack of care i've been taking, but is also due to other (rather boring) social/emotional reasons.
i was just wanting some advise as to how to interperate, manage and cope with the results i'm about to find out. my nurse will go though the results with me and of course adjust my basal rates, carb ratios etc.
however, as i tend to trust people with lived experience over those in the medical profession can anyone give me advisce?
thanks heaps, lauren.
