Anyone know of anywhere other than Smith's to get this adapter. I didn't realize those things were so expensive. :eek:

If it's nothing fancy (which I'm assuming it's not) then you should be able to go to any computer store. I actually bought a "media remote control" that used IR and my pump works with it.

I think Jedi may be right. I read somewhere that somoene got one on amazon for a song for their Cozmo.

I went to Fry's and bought a USB IR Port for less than $8. However, if you really have to have the one that comes from Cozmo, then I can send you the one I was given when the trainer came to my house and left 4 minutes later...

I picked up an IR/bluetooth port at my local Fry's for 20 bucks or so.

You might be able to get one free from your rep or your
doctor's office. Try to ask for one. It worked for us.

Smith's will send you one if you are completely new to the Cozmo. Trainers used to give them away but now you need to call Smith's and ask for one.

The other IR ports from Fry's and other computer stores will work too. My trainer used the built in one in her laptop and I have 3 or 4 others that I have used.
