Trial and error, small adjustments upward on your insulin.

I was 172 before dinner. And I haven't tested my other basals.
I wanted to get my nightime correct.

I'd work on the other 2 first. You want your bg to be in range and stable before going to sleep and after you wake up. IMO, at least do the afternoon to bedtime testing first...

I think the opposite of Cyborg. You're right to do your nighttime first. I think its easier b/c your not tempted by food or other activity to complete the test. (Just got to wake up to poke that finger). Plus getting that one right makes for an easier test in the day and evening chunks. Starting with your overnight is also what the book "Pumping with Insulin" recomends.
Though he is right, 172 before dinner is kinda high to start a basal test. You probably should have skipped dinner and gotten that number down and active insulin out of your system. If you can't skip dinner, eat early like 3 or 4pm with very low carbs so you have time to get that number in range before starting your basal test.
It does look like you need to increase a bit though. When you do make changes, be sure to repeat them a few nights once you think your close to be sure it's really working.

You have significant dropping in the night from 234 to 153. This tells me your 10pm to midnight should be cut back. You then rise at 4am but it is statistically insignificant. I would do nothing here. You drop before breakfast, most unusual.
I'd test the evenings next. That 234 is way to high. You don't know if it's the basal or bolus causing it, so do the evening basal next followed by the supper bolus.
I'm pulling an all nighter Friday night to test every half an hour if anyone wants to join me ;)

I am testing on Friday too, but just every 2 hours, I gotta have some sleep, lol
My numbers have been wacked out the last 3 days, having a migrane is not a good thing for my blood sugars, ran low the first day and then high the last two days, and then forgetting to bolus for dinner last night did not help.
Need to see what is going on.

Too bad it's not Thursday night...I'll be up as I have grades do and a paper to write. Not a bad idea to test every half hour though since I'll already be up. The frequent pokes may help keep me awake.

When you do your night time basal tests, you are supposed to go to sleep as usual, but wake your self and check your bg 1 or 2 times during the night, and early morning. The next night you do the same, but stagger the time(s) you take your bg. Doing this, you can get a profile of your bg trends at night without interrupting your normal sleep pattern. Here's (http://www.insulin-pumpers.org/howto/baslr.html) some more info that my be helpful... ;)
