New A1C Result [Archive] - Diabetes Forums

Well,

I was diagnosed type 1 in May of 2007. At diagnosis my A1C was 14.1%.

Just received my test results of.... drumroll please........

5.4%... guess I'm doin' somethin' right!....

Thanks.. yeah I was pretty amazed.. 14.1 to 5.4 in 4 months... I was expecting it to be 10, maybe 8, hoping for 6 or 7, then got 5.4%!! woo hoo!
