I cut my foot on some plastic in the shower last night. Its only a tiny cut, and I can feel it. Is this something to worry about?

If it is only tiny I'd think it should be ok, keep an eye on it to check it heals ok.
I cut my leg last week, quite badly, had a big gash where I caught the back of my leg on some wire. I was worried it wouldn't heal properly and it didn't stop bleeding for hours.
It's perfectly fine now though, I kept it really clean and its healing ok.
Feet are a bit different tho i think aren't they
I'm sure it'll be fine if it is just tiny, deppends how tiny you mean tho :)

Its about a cm wide but really shallow. Do people think it is a good idea to moisturise the skin around it?

I hope it isn't but if you should need something for it, I would encourage you to consider Bactroban. I've had cuts heal much faster since I started using it. I started using it several years ago when I had a cut that had become infected and it really helped a lot. Sadly, it is pretty expensive, but I can't remember how much it costs right off hand.

polysporin and a bandaid. Also keep it clean and dry as much as possible. Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs etc (public ones have lots of germs). This was the advice given to me by one of my doctors that did a wonderful operation on my foot.

If it's a really small cut it's probably not worth worrying about. Although technically we're all supposed to be ultra-careful with our feet, that's purely because doctors are paranoid that you might get neuropathy and cut yourself and not realise it, until it goes septic. Do whatever you usually do when you get cut - you can't go wrong with a bit o' Germoline or Savlon and if you're really worried, bung a plaster on it, although I find that tends to just make cuts soggy and slow down the healing process.

I felt it alright, its so small I can bearly see it now, but still a bit sore, so I'm just keeping an eye on it for the moment.
Hello
From one person who gets cut. It simply is best to make sure this or anything on the legs or feet does not get infected. If it stays clean and covered and you stay out of pools and dirty areas, you should have little to no problems. If it gets infected get to the doctor or Dermatologist and get what you need to take care of the infection. Bactroban is what I have, and polysporen is quite good as well. You should have no problems.
The problems occur if you do not feel a cut and it gets infected. The neuropathy can decrease the blood flow to the feet and legs and that is the concern. If you have good blood flow pulses, you will not have any problems.
