ezFlip cover and Holster not Compatible with the Animas 2020

Just got a letter today with a Low Profile Clip to be used with the Animas 2020.

Animas claimed in the letter that the ezFlip cover and Holster is not compatible with the Animas 2020.

Seeing how that what I have been using (ezFlip Cover and Holster) it seamed to work for me, I wonder what the problem is?

Anyone else get this letter and the new low profile clip?

Hi,
I have an Animas IR1200, and am really interested in getting a low profile clip for it - I see on the canadian animas website a low profile clip is listed (seems that it works for both IR1200 and 2020), but not on the American website. I'm Australian, and our website has nothing of use whatsoever! How did you go about getting your new clip? I really want to get one, even if I have to order it from overseas! I will try calling animas Australia tomorrow, but I really doubt they are going to be of any help. Sorry for hijacking your thread!

Wow, I am really excited, I just called up Australian Animas support and they actually have the low profile clip! $25, not too bad! So they are sending that out for me, it should arrive in the next couple of days! :D :D

dgrill, I am wondering if they meant that the low profile clip is not compatible to be used with the holster and ezflip covers? The lady did mention that to me when I ordered mine.

Just went to my mail box and there was the letter from Animas.

In the envelope was the low profile clip in plastic.

The letter in the envelope explained that Animas claimed in the letter that the ezFlip cover and Holster is not compatible with the Animas 2020.

So the ezFlip cover that I have used for over a year with my Animas 1250 that I started using with my Animas 2020 was not compatible? I've been putting the 2020 in the ezFlip cover since early September 2007 and even now. I tried the low profile clip and put it on my belt clip easy enough but let the pump exposed for all to see and get banged up from being exposed.

The ezFlip cover is hard plastic and slides in and a door opens and closes shut sheilding the pump from view and protecting it.

Mine is black with a gray door.

I also have a leather snap pouch that came with the 1250 Pump and always use that one to sleep with.
