Good for you Cheryl.

Makes me wonder why some docs wanna pump us full of nasty chemicals without good cause when we can do so much ourselves without the need for drugs.

You proberbly burnt all that cholesterol with all those hours you have been working, girl.

Glad to hear the good news. Doctors pahhh who needs em.

YaY Cheryl!!! AWESOME job!! :five:

I didn't hesitate to add another pill to my mix. I knew that there was nothing else I could, or was willing to change, in my diet! I was already as limited as I could be, as it was! ;)

That is great! My cholesterol was 257 total when I had it checked in July, my doc wanted me to try diet and exercise so I threw myself into it. I did not want to be taking cholesterol meds at 24! Anyway I started walking 6 miles a week and cut out almost all meat (which is the main source of cholesterol besides dairy) and most fat like mayonnaise and butter. I was able to get my cholesterol down to 230 but he didn't feel it was enough and put me on meds anyway. needless to say I am very dissapointed but I am greatful to have a way to get it down at all!!
