Hello
I mentioned in another thread that I'd let you know what has happened with my changing my Cannula from 9mm to 6mm with my Quick Sets. This is my second insertion so far. I have had a great deal of success so far. No rejections and I am now able to put the quick sets in my back area without feeling the cannula. So far it is very comfortable and it is being absorbed like it had done when I first started using my pump three years ago.

So I feel that the change has helped my situation with my having rejections becoming common.

I hope this is helpful to some of you. As well as being of interest.
Thanks for the support and for the idea.
Don

Hey Dpav,

I'm glad 6mm's worked out so good for you. I prefer them myself :) even though I'm inserting only into my tummy... I need to start using my back area or some other places, before I get those bumps all over my tummy :p
It's just so much easier..

Take care

Great to hear the news Don. I also use the 6mm after trying many other types of canula. Hope you have continued success!!!

Hello
After another day with different types of foods like high carbs and low carbs, My pump seems to be acting much more normal as to what I am used to. I think the absorption rate has finally gone back to normal.

So far all is actually very good.

I sure was getting frustrated, until I read a thread about switching to the shorter Cannula. I forgot who suggested it but I am thankful for the suggestion.
Take care
Don
