Hey there,
Anybody here use Humalog in a disposable pen?? Just wondering cause i have a box of 5 pens but they all have bubble in them. is this normal, I'm only using the first pen now but the others have been in my fridge. It's not the open one I'm worried about but the sealed pens with bubbles.
Thanks

Yes, I've used them and had bubbles in them. Had to work out the bubble first before I used then pen. I use to hold it needle pointing up then used a pen to tap on the sides to work the bubble out. Hope this helps

Is there any chance the bubbles you are seeing could be the mixing ball in the pen? I use Novolog 70/30 disposable pens and they each have a clear plastic or glass ball that would look like a bubble if you didn't know it was to mix the insulin.

Humalog doesn't need to be mixed, so it has no mixing ball. It's NPH that needs the mixing. The bubbles are normal. The instructions with the pens tell you how to reduce them.
