This is sold here in the US as One Touch Mini. It is a basic meter. In fact, here in the US one can get it for free by going to

If you are not in the US this offer may not be good.
I believe that this is as good as any other One Touch meters, as far as accuracy is concerned.

I have several OneTouch meters, including the Mini. They're all very good meters and I don't hesitate to recommend any of them. Like pjams said, they're often available for free from the manufacturer or from your doctor's office. It doesn't hurt to ask before you spend money on one.
