I've come to realize that different brands of glucose tabs can taste much different. I think that CVS has recently changed the ingredients in their tabs as they taste different now...
Which brand do you think tastes the best?

Don't know about brands, but I always go for watermelon flavor. It's the mildest and easiest to take.

I'll give the Albertson's brand a try. If Publix hasn't changed theirs, they have been the best I've had so far before CVS made some kind of change.
I made the mistake of bulk ordering some off name brand (MPD - Medical Plastic Devices) and they taste absolutely horrible. I can definitely understand how people can prefer not to use glucose tabs simply by trying the wrong brand...
I buy the ones at Long's Drug store. The orange ones taste like Tang and dissolve quickly. I don't like having to chew them.

I absolutely agree. I only use Premier Value, raspberry flavored.
I usually buy the ReliOn (Wal-mart) brand, in either watermelon or green apple, and they're pretty palatable. I made the mistake of buying the tropical fruit flavor once, and they're absolutely awful. They tasted like Tums :(

Every type I ever bought tasted nasty. So I stopped using them and just used regular candy instead as I found it much better and easier to carry.

I have yet to find a glucose tablet that I like, so instead, I use Starburst Fruit Chews (thanks to Notme) and they work just as fast.

I recently bought some fruit punch flavored one's at Target (store brand) and they are pretty good. :D
(And yes Cyborg, I carry them with me at all times.;) )

Mostly I have the Walmart house brand, whatever it is.
When I drop so low that I need glucose tabs, I'm in such a panic mode I'm not in the least concerned as to the flavor - just get the ****** BG up.

I can tolerate reli-on green apple. I tried the toffee....can you say HURL???
I really don't like tabs, but I keep them in my purse, by my bed and in the glove box of both cars just in case. I find that I prefer a few sips of a regular coke. For me it works faster than tabs.
