View Full Version : Diet fruit drinks
I've found Diet Ocean Spray, 2 carbs per serving and Diet V8 Splash, 3 carbs per serving. That's a huge difference compared to standard orange juice or grape juice.

OH that sounds cool, I found this 1 carb per tablespoon fat free vanilla creamer....from International...omg I just add it in and two packets of splenda, and since I am so busy in the morning all the time, I don't even have to sweat that 1-3 carbs....i drinking....cause I have messed up big time with coffee, since I drink it slow, and try to add it with my dose for a meal, I always go low....but if I didn't since it was about 6 carbs I'd end up being elevated doing this creamer has been a dream and no hydrogenated oils in them, as do regular creamers...so it has been delightful...

I've been drinking this since it came out on the market. It also tastes good with a shot of vodka! LOL

Karen, I have told you about your breakfast drink choices! :D
I have also been drinking Ocean Spray Cran-Rasberry and Cranberry juice lite for a couple of years. I have never been a big juice fan, but I love these. My doctor was amazed at my last 24 hour urine test as I was having a protein problem and the cranberry seemed to turn it completely around.

I don't drink much cranberry juice (I'd rather eat those high carbs elsewhere!) but after this discussion, I checked out the new sugar-free and diet cranberry juice bottles today at the grocery store.
A couple of things:
The regular (Sweetened) cranberry juice contained 37 carbs per 8 oz. This version has corn syrup (yuck) added...
The "no sugar added" (still carbs from the juice, though) was still high at 35 carbs without the corn syrup.
I was surprised there wasn't a bigger difference than 2 carbs.
I did purchase the "diet" cranberry juice which only had a few carbs per small bottle. I like the taste of cranberry juice, but the regular is just too sweet for me...and I'm not even a low-carber.
I'm surprised at the little difference in carbs between the regular and the no-sugar added. Again...a marketing ploy...
