private insurance paying for avastin shots

Has anyone who has had avastin shots have their private insurance pay any of it? I think medicare does but not private insurance.

My insurance did NOT cover them, however, my doctor only charged $80/shot so it wasn't a big deal. I had four shots and they helped a lot. I only needed very light touches from his laser (yesterday) to take care of what the shots did not.
