Has anyone found that their numbers were higher while taking metformin TR?

What does 'TR' stand for? I think my brain is not working today...

I don't take it in extended release form.

But I think I did read on the website of one of the brand-name makers of metformin (probably the Glucophage website) that statistically the ER (TR?) form does not lower BG or A1C as much as the regular form.

I'm surprised never to see this discussed on this forum in the couple years I've been here.

Your experience with it would seem to fall right in with the stats.

Time released!!!

With my brand new GLUMETZA I feel fine, numbers are much better, slightly on de decrease. Yay! Always did better on time released.

I switched to Glumetza about 6 months ago and my last A1c was the best ever.
