jk. 31 year old guy. But I do have "juvenile" diabetes! :D
I honestly have no explanation as to why it took me so long to join a diabetes discussion forum. I'm a complete geek and I have posted on other types of forums prolifically, for years.
The usual particulars:
Diagnosed at 18 years old with the usual sudden, ghoulish symptoms of the onset of type-1 diauhbeetis. . .I was in denial at first, naturally, but over the years have come to a sort of armistice with the condition.
I use the Medtronic Paradigm pump and had a 507c prior to that. Been pumping since 1998.
I live in Orange County, CA, and work as the IT Director for a law firm. I exercise a lot and spend as much time at the beach as possible. Fiercely libertarian.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and doing what I can to help out!
