Yesterday I had my yearly eye exam. There was quite a bit of change in one eye, which also had a "small" hemorrhage, that they just intend to watch. This is a first for me, although I have had bad eyesight and floaters, there has never been any bleeding. My eyes started itching and feeling dry within and hour of getting home, and still feel that way this morning. This is a new problem too, can it be from the drops they used and how long do I wait to do anything? Will something like Visine help?

Hey Penny, You would not like my eyes as my right eye is strange as I have limited sight like I can see big items but as clarity is concerned, Forget it!! My left is better though.
So for your age is a d@mn side better than me.
Have you got a eye bath?? Try not to scratch it. ;)

I also went this week. This was also my first time to have some bleeding (both eyes) that he wants to "watch", but since I am not scheduled until my regularly yearly visit, doesn't seem like watching to me. If there is bleeding should they be watching more often? Then talked to nurse educator about readings--can't get them down to where they should be and have been on pump 2 years now. She said with the eye problem I should not do weights, sit-ups, running, etc. I had never heard this before. What am I to do? Belong to 2 gyms--could walk at home. Needed weights for osteopsorosis and arthritis, but now what. I almost feel at this point I need to pick what I want to treat and let the others go. Do I worry about eyes or heart disease and the others? I am really frustrated at this point.
I had my exam 2 days ago, my eyes still seem blurry and itch like crazy. I too am wondering about the drops. Also, right eye during the night almost seems "stuck" like it isn't opening right away when I get up.
I am getting so frustrated with all of this at this point. It is just getting to be too much. I am tired of every aspect.
If anyone has information about the exercise part, please advise. I need to tone up and do the weights, but don't want to cause any more eye trouble. Seems like each Dr. has a different "do this".

I've always found that my eyes itch after I get my eyes checked. I think it has something to do with the numbing drops. Just my 2 cents. :)
