i use the insulin pens and lantus pens. unfortunatally im not in such great control right know. life is hectic had three surgeries this year and pain meds mess with your blood sugar. im curious about the pump but i dont think it would be good for me. im to active to have something constantly connected to me. if anyone uses the pen please let me know your opinion of it.
Hi,
I sort of laugh when non-pumpers say something like "I'm active, so I don't want to pump..." The reason I laugh is first off, I wonder if the notion is that pumpers are sedentary? :D Second, I have been pretty active with my pump--it's sort of nice to have a constant insulin supply with ya.
Welcome to the forums, btw. There is a lot of knowledge in this group here; we can be cantankerous, though--be forewarned. LOL

I didnt mean to offend. I dont think that pumpers are non active but i have always been under the impression (by lack of knowledge probably) that my activities are to much to wear a pump. Such as wakeboarding, motorcyclriding, the gym. I guess i think it would pinch me or fall out if i move to much. I would love feedback on this an an explaination of how it works. I guess it kinda scares me.
