Thanks it is hard to talk to people who do not have this and I really did not know where to go. I do not feel like my health care specialist is that knowledgable. I am glad that I found the forums.

Welcome Troy,
You have come to a very good place. No question is a dumb one; we'd love you to share if/when you feel like it.

Is it easy to navigate around this forum, and talk to people about certian questions one might have?

Enalapril is an ace-inhibitor, often proscribed to diabetics to protect your kidneys. I take it, was initially put on it for high blood pressure before I was diagnosed with diabetes. The doctor said with my family history, this was an excellent medicine to treat both the hypertension and protect the kidneys. Many here are on ace-inibitors.
ask.com has this information about ace-inhibitors:
ACE Inhibitors - Diabetes and ACE Inhibitors (http://diabetes.about.com/od/equipmentandbreakthroughs/a/aceinhibitors.htm?r=94)
If you want to check out the various forums here, click on the forums link under "site navigation" to the right of your screen. This will show you the different categories: Type 1, Type 2, Other meds, Exercise, Chit-chat...or you can click on new posts and read them and respond accordingly.
It may take a day or two, but soon you'll be navigating like a pro!
