Ive heard arguments that diabetes isnt and then it is genetic. All I know is my maternal grandmother, my mom, all 4 of her sisters, my paternal grandmother plus my baby sister and I have it? There has got to be a link!

We have type 2 all over the family. My cousin and I are the only ones with Type 1, but diabetes is all over the place.

As far as I know I'm the only T1 in my family. My dad's side of the family is all T2, but mostly the males...

I am the only diabetic in my family, unless i have some distant relatives or it was in my family many generations ago. My granddad has been looking into the family tree, I don’t think he has found any diabetics. So either I’ve been adopted or its in the water as already suggested :D

Sorry to hear that yet more people have this d^mn3d disease. :(

THE PFBA water contamination here is causing lots of autoimmune problems. the main problem is an outbreak of diabetes.
it makes the pancreas go againts itself causing the lack of insulin production.

mostly being misdiagnossed as regular diabetes

I’m sorry I didn’t realise that PFBA can cause diabetic like symptoms (ignorance is bliss). I can imagine it causing a big mess hope you guys manage to clear it all up.

Do you have a source for this comment? I grew up on well water clear into adulthood, then lived in Europe. Now we drink filtered water.
