Hi everyone. im a newbie. my name is Missy and im 19 years old with type 1, hypothyroidism, bipolar, and adhd. with alll my problems they play different factors in my diabetes. like for example......my anger is really high my blood sugars are going to be high. things like that are what make my diabetes so complex compaired to a normal diabetic. im just lost for words when someone asks me how is your diabetes doing....because half the time i dont know! it chages everyday most of the time im in 200-300 blood sugars. which is bad but its better then dropping down to 18 and not knowing whats going on. (ive been there) i guess what im trying to say is i hope i pray i wish that this forum will help me get better control of my diabetes ill be lookin around on here for info. anything i can to get myself undercontrol.
hope all is well.

Hello Missy :), Welcome to DF! and I can understand about being frustrated and angry because that you are high.
I too have a short temper and that's from high blood pressure and learning to calm down and take stock of the situation.
I have one other addiction and it's here whare I can find good people here.
Diabetes control is everything and yet to explore the good stuff in food!! :D
Enjoy your stay here. :T

:shakehand Good morning Missy,
I'm glad you joined. Ask questions, make comments, whatever . . . and let us all get to know you better, and you will get to know this is a good group. You sound very interesting, kind and artistic. I was misdiagnosed w/bipolar during a very hard time . . . it turned out to be extreme anxiety though. I'm a lot healthier these days than I was back then (teens and early 20s).
I think it's very hard to be your age with major health issues. Sadly, anxiety is common. Bipolar just gives you even more "challenges". With friends and support, you can be fine -- just believe! :)
