Welcome Lou!

We have people here from all around the globe -- it's really cool! I'm glad you joined. I'm always impressed with people who know more than one language. I know a tiny bit of French and Spanish, but I could not write near as well as you.

Welcome Lou.

This statement makes me think you do not count your carbohydrates. Do you eat the same sized meals all the time? Do you correct when you are high? I say what my ratios (insulin units per grams of carbohydrates or I:C) are. Mine are 1:5, 1:10, and 1.5:10. For every 5 grams of carbs at breakfast, I take 1 unit of insulin.

Hi Xmenace,

No, I don´t count carbohydrates...I eat the same sized meals, more or less...

My endo says that is better control my sugar levels 6 times in a day, and don´t worry about count carbohydrates...With these 6 controls, I correct my sugar when I have to correct it (not often)...

Si, Sevilla. I was busy in the US Navy building a geodesic dome over an olympic sized swimming pool, and a pre-engineered building, taking programming classes and taking over as my Seabee Battalion's "computer guy" - so except for staggering from one bodega to the next in Rota there was just a couple trips to Sevilla.

I did enjoy Spain and look forward to going back some day to see more of it.
