Old man

A week ago last Sunday I cut my index finger. I should have had maybe 10 stitches but didn't. It is healing nicely. I'm using Neosporin and trying to keep BG down. Problem is any exercise that uses hands is out of the question. Also even so much as a brisk walk causes it to bleed a little as my heart rate increases. So I've taken the week off except for a little ab work and a couple of 3 mile walks. Tonight I'm 134 at 4 hours post prandial when I would normally be 100 to 110. Fastings are up 5 to 10. And yes I have cut back on the chow some. We all really need to exercise if we can. I now have my proof of the overall benefits of exercise to general BG control. Before I knew of the immediate benefits. I can't wait to get back to 45 minutes to 1 hour of something sweaty each day.
