i am having a hard time with my daughters pump at night. We put it in the pocket of a shirt and it comes out and she gets wrapped up. i tried safety pinning the pocket im sure you know what happened there. I ordered night shirt and shorts from pumpwearinc.com but it wont be here for a while. I need some help from experienced pumpers. PLEASE also any ideas for day time would help too!!thanx

i'm sure others will give you plenty of ideas here.
personally i'm a night time wriggler! i just put mine in a sock and have it in the bed next to me, mostly i scoop it with me when i move around.
could you try one of those stuffed animals that double up as a place to keep your night shirt during the day? i'll bet placing the pump inside one of those would solve it for sure, as she could cuddle up to it at night ;)

I used to wear a pair of shorts that had a zipper pocket. I got them from Old Navy years ago.
Now I simply clip the pump to my wast band of my PJs.
I have heard of many people sewing a sock to the inside of their pajamas and sticking the pump in the sock.
Good luck!

Could you stitch some velcro on the inside of the pocket?
Only other option is a straight jacket :)

What about the stretchy belt with a pouch? I either use the belt or clip at night. There are some websites that even cater to kids -- pump pouches. I'm getting a couple things any day & they even ask for the waist size for the velcro belt. You can google "insulin pump pouches" and find several people /companies who make them.

The clip on mine seems to be fairly strong. If I clip it to the waist band of my boxers, it holds pretty tight. That's the worst thing about the pump....no more sleeping in the buff.:D

I put mine in a little pouch, but a sock would work just as well. In fact, I keep mine in my pouch all the time and it helps my pump from falling out of my shirt pocket if I bend over to pick something up.

I sleep in the nude and let it sleep next to me. I do this knowing I sleep quite light almost all the time and always wake up if there is some kind of tangling or dangling problem (rare for me).
I've found for me that clipping onto pjs, boxers etc increases tangling problems, because I feel much less comfotable. In the nude, tangling isn't such an issue anyway. Also, I feel a little freer from the pump.
If I am really tired and might sleep deeper, or want more security I tape my set down with some paper tape for added strength against pulling.
I'm pretty happy with this (can't stand wearing pjs or anything) but I can imagine if one is a tosser and turner in pj's it would cause all sorts of tangling issues.

I usually just keep mine in it's pouch next to me in bed. I use to clip it to my boxers or pj bottoms, but it wasn't comfortable. Now it just rolls around in bed with me. No problems tangling either. I seem to naturally grab it in my sleep when I roll over.
