Purple food? That just scares me. What foods are purple besides berries? Eggplant, plums? I wonder what would happen if you mixed green with purple?

I find this sort of funny. How long could you do this? If you lost weight and then went back to eating normally, you would probably gain it all back.

I guess all these purple foods would have little or no fat...so you probably would lose weight...and there would probably be some "interesting" digestive issues as well!

Mmmm .... I don't suppose Black Sambuca (a purple liqueur) would qualify .... :o

I happen to have some imperical data on this. Sambuca, while delicious, hasn't done much for my waistline. :D

Colors in fresh produce are indicative of various phytonutirents. Eat a variety of different colored foods, enjoy them all as good fuel for your body.

Exercise until YOU turn purple - now that's a free weight loss tip you count on.

I have a friend whose sister is studying nutrition. She was told at University that if you try to eat a rainbow of food colours every day, you will get absolutely every type of nutrient that you need.
I had to smile...first of all where do you buy a rainbow? And how many carbs does it have? :D

In the candy aisle. They're called Skittles. :) They are 1 gm carb per piece! Though I don't really think that you'll be getting the good nutrients you're looking for in *that* rainbow!

Don't forget the M&Ms too. Lots of good nutritious colors there.
