Hi Everyone.
You know I have been up and down, as most have on my readings now and then. For a while I was really worried about the directions they had taken. I was loosing lots of weight and muscle and still seeing higher readings.
I got to wondering about the amounts of food and what combination I was using. I knew from reading that fiber is suggested as a way to slow the sugar rise. My mom made a large batch of muffins that she adapted to increase the fiber and reduce the sugars and carbs. I have added one to my morning breakfast as well as lunch when its soup or none sandwich meal. Also at supper even with some potatos and other carbs and my ice cream. Oddly the whole run of the muffins I am seeing significantly lower after meal readings. Yesterday with no exercise I got a 95 after breakfast, with exercise I have gotten a 71 and today a 85. After dinner at night I have seen range in the 112 to 138 range. Eating the same meals that I was getting those 197 readings from recently.. Coincidence?
I am going to post the recipe in that section in a day or so and would be interested to see if any others that try them get the same results or do they work the other way for some? I know were all different.
In this same period I have started taking the Salacia Oblonga which is very difficult to get now and comes from India. It could also be that as I felt it lowered my numbers early on also. Or it could be a combination of the two, or just neither?
