So, I get my greedy hands around a box of Wheat Thins, sun dried tomato and basil, YUM! So, I as I have exactly 10 munched down and I reach for MORE, I just happen to look at the label. 20 grams of carbs per serving, 15 crackers per serving. Woah! Needless to say, I put down the box and thought, hmm, these sure taste good, I'll save them for a low. I was in a munching mood too. I had to share this though, they seem like such a healthy snack too! I think they hey word that should have alerted me was "WHEAT". Go figure!

Your good! I have been addicted to Wheat Thins for the past few weeks and it's hard for me to put the box down. I've been through the sun-dried tomato as well as ranch, cinnamon and cream cheese and chives.

Sad thing is I never cared to look at the label to see how many carbs I was stuffing my face with. :o What I don't know won't hurt me right? :T

I've been caught by the cracker munchies too. Amazing how many carbs they pack into such a little (and easily consumed) package. In my supermarket, the different flavors of 'thins' take up a lot of shelf space too.

Oh man, I used to love Wheat Thins. Had to give them up though, the gluten wasn't doing my guts any good at all.

And yeah, they're pretty carb heavy.

I love those sun dried tomato ones... I usually have about 5 and put the box away. Problem is, they get stale before I finish them!

My birds have been getting a nice half a box of them as treats over the last two weeks.

Yeah, I have to watch those, too. Triscuits are also good, but you do have to watch them. They have no added sugar, but obviously are made from wheat. They don't bother me much, but some might find them hazardous.

Are you saying you spiked after taking a bolus? Or, just from snacking without a bolus?

Wheat thins are the worst for me and I love them. I started buying Triscut and I do better with those.

Try the Triscuit Thin Crisps! They are excellent and don't raise my BS as much as other crackers!

That's so odd... I've never been interested in Wheat Thins until the past few weeks... It's like a weird epidemic. I know what you mean though. The tomato ones are the best, with the sour cream and chive ones coming in close second. Hard to put down, and you definately have to be careful, even if they are "healthy".

I just ate a "100 calorie" small pack of Wheat Thin Crisps...they are about 15 carbs. I ate them with an orange...bolused 3 units of Humalog...will let you know! Between the orange and the Crisps...who knows? But I don't recall having any big spikes.

Those 100 calorie packs are great. They are a good Weight Watcher "tool" to stay out of the big bag/box.

Wheat thins are so yummy!

I almost bought them when I went shopping a few days ago but I decided to take a glance at the nutrition facts...pfff! They went right back on the shelf. :(
