I just discovered that the sensors seem to work better when you insert them standing up (even though it's more painful). Has anyone else noticed this?

I've never tried it standing up... next time I will.

:D I wish I had some sensors to insert. I'd do it on my head if I had to! :D

I generally stand because it "stretches" the stomach skin and seems to make it easier to insert.

I always sat until now. There is definately a difference in the values returned by the sensor. From my experience so far, when I stand, I get a MUCH larger range of accuracy (about 60-250) as oppose to sitting (generally around 60-180), but the sensor doesn't last as long. For me, standing hurts a little more and doesn't go in quite as easy, probably because I don't have much fat and it hits muscle. I'm just amazed at the difference this makes.

My CDE told me to insert sets ALWAYS standing up, so I got in the habit of doing that, and it carried over to sensors.
