Billy Ray, are you a chef or caterer? You have WAY too many great-sounding (and looking) recipes to be just a "regular person!;) "

I'd like to have a recipe for low-carb fritos, for sure! I love those things!!! That last recipe sounds like a BBQ version of "Petros" a treat that came to Knoxville with the 1982 World's Fair and is still popular today:

Open individual sized bag of fritos, add chili, cheese, green ointions, chopped tomatoes and sour cream...eat from bag...everyone loves Petros around here! Now I have fewer chips, more toppings!

Ok Linda....how the heck do you eat it from a bag. Don't your fingers get messy or do you just stick your face in it? :D

Here in the "hills of TN," we have these really neat things called "forks"....dip fork in frito bag, pick up food, put in mouth :D ! Guess you could stick your face in as well...but that would have to be a "Jethro" sized bag of chips! :)

Ahhhhhh......here in the West we rarely use forks in bags. Generally, it is used with a plate and a knife. :eating:

The Jethro style sounds kinda fun!

Bet you guys in CA look awfully funny walking around places like the "World's Fair" with plate, knife and fork! :T

Now, the Petros restaurants actually do serve them in a bowl, but the original petros at the World's Fair was perfectly portable in the little bag. I remember as an 18 year old thinking it was the "coolest" thing i'd ever seen! Now, I think "dippin' dots" are the cooles thing I've seen in awhile!

And then there's Dorito pie! Line a pan with Doritos, top with heated canned chili (beans or no, your choice), chopped onions (green or regular), bell peppers if you like them and muy shredded cheese. Bake until the cheese melts and top with sour cream.

Muy delicioso! You could crisp up some low-carb tortillas and substitute those, as well.

Keep those good recipes comin', Billy Ray!
