I have an appt tomorrow morning for fasting bloodwork (lipids, et al).
My main concern is going low overnight (still a possibility with a pump). What would be my best course of action to prevent either being too low or too high in the morning?
Was told that if I have a low, to treat it (duh!!) but I would need to reschedule my bloodwork. :(

I believe it is okay to treat a hypo with glucose tablets, lipids are affected by fat intake.

maybe decrease basal( a temp for a few hours) a bit tonight and run a little higher than normal?

My understanding is that if your basal(s) are adjusted correctly you should be able to safely skip a meal. That was how I was shown to test that my basal(s) are correct. If you are concerned that is not the case, you could set a temporary basal as already suggested.
