Got my cable yesterday for my monitor. I was really glad to get all my results downloaded so I could really SEE trends and so forth. I still don't understand why I'm so susceptible to the Dawn Phenomenon, but maybe when I see my endo in May, he can give me some tips on confounding it. :)

My PPs are in good shape and my other readings, even though rarely under 100, are also rarely over 120. Not bad at all. I start out a little higher, go down in the mornings, and usually stay down for the rest of the day. A little higher PP, but that's to be expected. All still under the 140 mark.

I guess it was just good to see "the big picture" since I tend to focus on the last BG reading I had. That really helped my attitude, to see my BG readings trending steadily down. Still not where I want them, but better than they were, for sure.

So, if your monitor will hook up to your 'puter, I highly recommend doing the download thing.

It is always amazing to really see your results in front of you. I always am surprised when I write down/download my readings. Sometimes pleasingly, sometimes... not so much.

I especially like the scatter plot graphs/charts. Those really help to see consistent issues. The best part about any software is the various methods of looking at the same data. That would be so time consuming and tedious with a paper/pencil log book.
