The Grunter said there's absoluetely no sign of any retinopathy. They look great!

Of course that's awesome news, but he's said that for the last year. I go back again in 3 months because of the three little bleeders I've had this winter. I still feel like I'm sitting on the edge of a cliff *sigh*

Great news about your exam today, John.

I am glad to hear there is no sign of retinopathy and know EXACTLY what you mean when you say you sit on the edge of a cliff. When I go to eye doctor, I always hold my breath until they say it looks good. I have one small spot they found during my last exam that they said they will "watch"....I hate those words. In the past, they have always said, PERFECT.

Here's hoping you always get a good report from your eye doc!

Good news!

And I know what you mean... it's nerve wreaking to live 3 months at a time like that.

Pat pat pat on your back, John.

Good news from the Doc. I too know exactly what you mean. I'll be thinking good thoughts to keep it that way.

Are you still thinking of the new binoculars? :)

So does this waiting game ever go away or do we now all get to the cliff every 3 months?

15.5 BG is a clear description of what you'd been through.

It also exhibits your strong personality to have conqured such an ordeal. You are an inspiration ;)

So far I'm ****ing lucky. I'm lucky to have found this place. A 6.0 A1C was not possible otherwise. The information I learned to do that almost all came from here. You people motivate me every day. I know I wouldn't be out on the road three days a week plodding along if it weren't for you. I would not be eating the way I am. I only wish you slackers could help me lose some weight! ;)

The Grunter? What is that exactly? :D

Good news on the eyes though. Take a few weeks on the relief part of the worry / relief cycle and enjoy it.

As to the weight loss, it ought to be warming up even as far north as you are. Step away from the keyboard and go outside. Often. No excuses. I could loan you a dog if you like. They need walking...:D

I ask him questions, he grunts. I laugh whenever he does :D I think he thinks I've lost it.

Getting there. I'm trying to get out daily with my binoculars. Going for a walk today at lunch. And yea, the lawn is starting to green a bit.

Last night I told DW I'm cutting back on meal sizes for lunch and dinner. She is too. ;)
