Just wanted to introdcue myself I have found this sight most helpful. I was diagnosed on Jjuly 10th with type two diabetes while in the Hospital with a kidney stone. I am currently taking actos - 45mg and amaryl - 1mg. My wife is having twins in 10 days and last week she had her appendix removed. So My wife and I have had a run of both good and bad luck.

Welcome, Jacob. I think you're going to be very busy very soon! Yikes, appendectomy during pregnancy? I had mine taken out in 2003, so I remember the recovery well. I hope you both do well, and let us know when those babies are born!
Take care of both of you,
HeatherP

Congratulations Jeffrey! I hope when things get back to normal (whatever that is) for you you'll drop by more often. For the time being though, I'm sure you're extremely busy! When's the last time you got a full night's sleep? lol!

Congrulations on the twins, boys are a wonderful addition to a family. I have two, not twins, myself.
Eventually everything will even out and you will find yourself handling the twins and your diabetes. I was on the other end being the mother. I have T1 but eventually figured out how to handle both at once.
Good luck and some day soon I hope to be able to sleep through the night. My youngest is 3, but it is all worth it.
