Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere obvious and I'm the last to cotton on, but I just discovered the converters right here on this page!

For those not in the know, look to the nav bar on the right, under Site Navigation scan down and you can find the converters.

Nice work site designers! I'll be using this a lot, usually I'm too lazy to go to an offsite converter, now it's right here, a click away.

Thanks Subby, that is really useful - it means I can easily convert values to compare with my brother in N.I who is also Type 1. I am at this site every day so it is very convenient. :)

If you use the red color choice, its on the right hand side. If you're using the tan color screen its under "tools" on the top left.

Someone (http://www.diabetesforums.com/forum/members/2427.html) made the converters.

In case you're not here or not by a computer, converting is easy anyway - just multiply mmol by 18 to get the mg/dl result (e.g 5mmol x 18 = 90mg/dl), or divide mg/dl by 18 to get mmol.

The converters are very handy though, a great tool to have on the site :)

I like the A1c converter. Especially when I forget to change what I put in. (For example put in 146 as an A1c not bg. The converter gets tough on you!
"Result: An HbA1c of 146 is equal to an average blood glucose of 5120.3 mg/dL. HORRIBLE CONTROL! You are about to die!"
