Can it fly? Seems a little good to be true? 3 seconds to results, I wonder how accurate it is? Well if its real I want one :D has some pretty decent specs.

Yeah it does seem a bit too good. It does need to get CE approval first tho so i'm not gonna hold my breath. Using bluetooth is interesting tho do you agree? I wonder if it would paint my bedroom too hmmmmmm perhaps change channels on tv??

It's not available yet in the US, though their website shows it. It looks really good. David Mendosa (http://www.healthcentral.com/diabetes/c/17/24867/ultimate-meter) reviewed it recently, positively.

Thanks for the review link, it now seems as tho it will wash the dishes too. I think it will be VERY expensive over here in UK
Perhaps even in the £30 range

Ive always wanted a meter that sounds an alarm after 2 hours (easily settable). To remind me to test again, as Ive usually got engrossed in some other job by then:mad:

Me too. One of the hardest things for me to remember it to check my BG 2 hours after meals. I hate having to watch the clock or set an alarm at work.

I have the Keynote (got it free for buying 100 strips - at a very decent price, I might add), but I thought this one was cute! Why "cute," one may ask? Because of the little smiley face in the upper right hand portion of the screen! :D It will be cool to try it out once it becomes available here.

I dunno why i'm all sweaty with anticipation cos knowing us brits we'll say " no you can't have this device cos it costs too much and small Russian elves in outer Siberia have been found lost in forests due to working too much in the lancet mines due north of the Insulin sea". We are like that. Seriously tho its due for general release in the states in August i think and its just waiting for CE compliance over here, so probably early next year.

At least if they had laptops with Bluetooth they could share bg results, it’s not all bad ;). I think the NHS will be more interested in strip provisions than the meter themselves, as it’s likely they will just give the meter for free. ;)
