I just found this site earlier today, so I decided to join! I'm a type 1 diabetic, diagnosed over 18 years ago when I was only 18 months old.

I'm a huge sports fan and a weather-nut. I enjoy good rock music, good action movies, and surfing the net.

Looking forward to talking to everyone on here soon!

football = Cowboys My three year old twins say go cowboys every night before bed. :D
baseball = Orioles "Cal Ripkin oh yea"
Hockey = Capitals
Basketball = Celtics and Suns

baseball - twins, red sox
basketball - t-wolves, celtics, hornets...also like, but to a lesser degree, suns, cavs
football - vikings, so-so on the patriots
hockey - wild, penguins, avalanche (not so much now, since they knocked the wild out....lol)

you a big-time fan of sports, or more just occasionaly watch?

I am also a die-hard Olympic sports fan summer and winter.

Basketball lets just say I miss the Bird era (Celtics) and the Thunder Dan era (Suns). I like the current Celtics line up better then any since bird. I hate the spurs thye cost the suns a championship last year.

Hockey I like the playoffs when the Caps are in it. ( the lock out hurt the sport it will be lucky if it survives

jacobsam - I love watching the 4 majors, and olympics too....I don't care much for soccer either, and nascar is in the same vat as soccer...lol

I hated seeing Garnett go from MN to Boston, but at least he's got a shot to win a title there, where in MN he was like Ernie Banks....great player, nobody great around him = no championship

as for hockey, I think there are enough fans, so it should survive....the MN Wild have sold out every game since they became a team....but, then again, it's MN, land of hockey
