Cutting down on carbs is great but it can also make your bg worse. If you eat a meal with little or no carbs a lot of times your liver will kick out glucose to raise your bg. People wonder why their bg goes up when they didnt eat any carbs. The rub is knowing how much carbs to eat keep your cells and your liver happy.
