I normally take all my non-diabetes meds in the morning. Since I started taking metformin, I now take a pill at night as well. I have my morning meds and night meds in separate 7 day pill boxes to make it simpler. I just walked into my bathroom for my night time meds, and without thinking like a complete ******* TOOK ALL MY MORNING PILLS INSTEAD.
I took an extra 10mg Singulair, .175 Synthroid, 40mg Nexium, 81mg aspirin, 10mg Lipitor, and an extra multivitamin. Sigh.
And I have a full physical in the morning...
Anyone aware of any side effects I need to be worried about? At least my Glucovance was correct ;)

Oops, it's a pain when your head doesn't kick in when you want it to!
Could I suggest you give your doctor's office a call and get medical advice?

Lipitor and other Statins are supposed to be taken at night anyway!
The body creates more cholesterol between 2am and 5am than at any other point of time ... thus taking the statin before going to bed means that it is at it's most effective when the body needs it most.
The aspirin, multivitamin and Liptor won't do any harm
I don't recognise the other three drug names ...

I did not know that - I'll talk to my GP next week.
The Singulair is for asthma/allergies, the Nexium is for reflux, and the Synthroid is for a inactive thyroid. The Dr at my physical this morning said their should be no adverse side effects. Whew.
Thanks!

Glad the Dr advised no side effects. Have you taken a bright color marked and put "Morning" and "night" on the pill boxes?
Mine actually have a face on the morning and a bed on the night.;)

I can't speak to the other medications, but I recall hearing that T4 (Synthroid) is very slow-acting... that one must quit taking T4 for a couple weeks before testing endogenous thyroid hormone levels... so one missed/extra dose should be negligible.

That would probably not have stopped me, but I'll do it anyway. I take two pills at night and many more in the morning, so the handful that took three swallows should have been a clue. It was a compete DOOFUS moment!

Confirmed by the doctor this morning.
