View Full Version : How to get the USB Carelink

Ok my new meter came today and it works fine. No complaints at all. The same size and does just about the same as the Ultra2 I have been using. Now how do I get the USB Carelink. It says I just have to call but do they charge you for it? Why do they just not include it in the meter.

I think it depends on your current pump warranty. I ordered one (log on to Carelink and there's a link at the bottom right). However, my sister got one (as did others on DF) that didn't order it at all, it just showed up.

Why do they just not include it in the meter.

The Carelink usb only works with the pump. You will need the cable for your meter to upload it's data.

That is what I want to upload the pump. The meter sends all its data to the pump now, I just want to send it to my computer and to Carelink. My 522 is only 1 1/2 years old now so it is still under warranty.
