WBIR.com | Knoxville, TN | Diabetic suing Dollywood for sugared soda mixup (http://www.wbir.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=56202)

Link to his lawsuit

My thoughts are yes, we have at one time had the switch a roo but in the end who has the most responsibility in this situation.

The man tasted the pop and said it tasted strange. If in fact it tasted strange then I would demand a new drink.

Secondly, where was his insulin? Why did he have to call paramedics in order to get insulin. Why is he eating at a restaurant if he doesn't have his insulin. The only excuse I could see if maybe he was a T2 not on insulin but it doesn't appear that way because in his suit it claims his doctor had to up is dosage of insulin.

ETA: Not sure why link to lawsuit isn't working but you can find link at bottom of article.

I know why the link doesn't work. It's because links to .pdf files and some other links are incompatible with certain options in the software used to run the DF forum. If you look below the [Submit Reply] button, in the "Additional Options" section, under "Miscellaneous Options" there are check boxes called "[x] Automatically parse links in text" and "[x] Automatically retrieve titles from external links" which are checked (on) by default. You have to uncheck them before submitting such a link or it fails quietly.

So here is the link:

This "quiet failure" is so common that I would like to see these options turned OFF by default. I expect that this is just a configuration issue and could be changed without too much fuss. The sexiness that these options provide isn't worth the confusion they cause. IMHO.
