Private Health Insurance

Is it a possibility for a diabetic person to get a private health insurance? Have anyone of you tried to get it for yourself? What’s the typical cost of the coverage? Please let me know if you guys have had private health insurance. Is there any difference between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes in terms of private insurance coverage?

I think most States regulate the individual health insurance market. The rules as to who can purchase and what is included in the coverage vary depending on where you live. I just went throught this and was able to get it from the small business insurance person in town.
