Carb/Sugar Blockers

Anybody have any experience with carb/sugar blockers? Do they work? Do you reduce your insulin intake when eating a meal while using a carb/sugar blocker? Are over the counter products less effective than prescription varieties? Any thoughts/help are appreciated.

I tried one before, I can't remember the name of it but it was made from an herb from India. It upset my stomach so I stopped using it.
