Johnnylol's thread about low carb breads and pasta's got me thinking. Now I know all low carb products are not available everywhere but what is your favorite low carb products? I thought if we discussed some here then we could be on the lookout for them when we hit the grocery store :)
Mine are:
1. Steel's Line of condiments, especially their Country Syrup (maple) which is thick, and has a lovely maple flavour. Their barbeque sauce is wonderful too. Sweetened with malitol.
2. Also the Carb Options line is turning into something really nice although watch out for their Peanut Butter, it's really NOT low carb when you compare it to regular brands.

I love this new low-carb craze for the light drinks. I can not explain enough how incredible Dole Carb Coundown is. I bought it the other day and almost drank the whole thing. It is actually PULPY. I got the Pinapple orange banana. It tastes like a smoothie. Only 25 calories too per 8oz. 5 carbs, 2 sugar. I had to pick the container back up after drinking it to make sure it was that light.
Other than that.....grape tomatoes are pretty good.

my favorites are pork rinds and beef jerky. celery and salsa also work well, but watch out for salsa with beans.
I have so many favourites I hardly know where to begin, but if I had to pick my very favourite, it would be my special occasion dessert "Raspberry Delight." I posted the recipe in the Recipe section some time ago - I don't know whether any of you have tried it, but it's incredibly good and nobody would ever know they were eating a low carb dessert.

Sorry - I just checked the recipe section and found that I hadn't posted the Raspberry Delight recipe. I'll do that right now. I made it for guests once whose teen-aged son was diabetic. He was ecstatic and said to his mother, "Mum - it's a real dessert, and I can eat it!" Needless to say, his mother asked for the recipe.

I'm still looking for a favorite low-carb food. Now drinks?? It absolutly has to be Minute Maid Light. They have all sorts of fruity flovrs (other than just the plain old orange, cherry, bla, bla, bla). The one I'm drinking on now is Guava Citrus. Tropical Mango is pretty good too! In one can, there's only 10 calories, 0g of fat, and a whopping 2g or carbs. You'd never know it unless you check the Nutrition Facts!

my favourite low carb food is glucomannan noodles,they have no carbs at all,just fiber and after years of not eating noodles,its great to have them back in my WOE.I also use a product called konjac fiber,(glucomannan) and this is a powder that can be added to any drink at all and it makes a pudding as its a thickener,still no carbs.
this is the info on it for anyone thats interested;
