Chinese Lettuce Wraps
1lb ground lean turkey or chicken breasts
1/2 onion, chopped
4 ****ake mushrooms
7 stalks napa cabbage
8oz water chestnuts
2TB hoisin sauce
1TB lite soy sauce
1/4 tsp five-spice powder
12 large iceberg lettuce leaves
1. Chop mushroom caps and cabbage leaves.
2. Coat wok or skillet with cooking spray/oil and stir-fry meat over medium-high heat for aprox. 4 minutes. Remove meat and set aside.
3. Lightly recoat pan and stir-fry onions for 2 minutes.
4. Stir in hoisin sauce, soy sauce, five spice seasoning, cabbage, mushrooms and chestnuts. Stir-fry about 1 minute.
5. Add back meat and fry another 2 minutes
6. Serve on top of iceberg lettuce leaves.
Serves 4

princesslinda mentioned lettuce wraps and I remembered I had this recipe. I have made it many times and it is as good as any restaurant order - IMO. I serve it with a dipping (fish) sauce. I'll try and find that recipe from a my Thai cookbook.
PS. I love how the program blocked out my dirty shaaaatake mushrooms. :D
