Download from UltraLink???

Has anyone tried yet to download reading from their OneTouch UltraLink meter? I got mine last week and tried to download the info to my computer today. I keep getting a message that says "Unable to establish connections with the meter." I have been downloading from my OneTouch Ultra 2 for some time with no problems.

I connect the cable, the meter says PC like it should, and then the error message pops up. I really like having the meter talk to my pump but if I can't get the numbers to download, I'm not sure if I will keep using it.

When you say download are you talking about to Carelink or to the Lifescan software? When I went to my doctor's appointment the other day they said a new version just came out a few weeks ago, so the new version most likely has Ultralink support added. Just go to Lifescan's site to download the upgrade.

Thanks, I actually found it just after I posted. There is a new meter driver download that is needed for some of their newest meters...the UltraLink and UltraMini and I think one more. It only took a minute or two and now it is working. YAY!!!

Where did you download the driver? I just reinstalled the Lifescan software and was able to download my UltraSmart but not the Link!

I went to the Lifescan website and downloaded the driver here: Driver Download (http://www.lifescan.com/products/otdms/meterdriver/download/)

If that link doesn't work, go to the main page of Lifescan and click products-OneTouch UltraLink. Then on the left hand side click "About Software". There are two places on that page where "Meter Driver" is highlighted in blue. Click there and follow the directions to download the new driver.
