Kidney pains?

Hi guys, I just got "officially" diagnosed with Type 1. I had been on glyburide for a few days to now effect. They just put me on a course of daily insulin shots as of yesterday. Today I woke up and my kidneys are killing me. Is this a side-effect?

Are you sure it is kidney pain? Definitely call your doctor and talk to him about your pain. You might just have yourself a kidney infection that needs to be addressed or kidney stones. Either way, nothing to fool with.

I recall when I was in hospital and was on insulin I would have a little dull ache from time to time after my insulin shots however it only lasted 2 weeks or so. I wonder if it was my body reacting to the insulin. In all the excitement I never mentioned it or really took muhc notice. But if you have it a while I'd see a doc ASAP
