Hi Everyone,
I am not sure I am doing this right. But, here goes......
I have had Diabetes for 48 years. I have discovered that even though change is scarey, I now find it exciting. Everytime they come out with something new I jump to it. I started pumping 8 years ago. I use Medtronic Paradigm with the CGM system. I am in the medical profession. I am healthy with a history of heart disease.
So, there you have it, I introduced myself. I will be happy to answere questions. I have already gained knowledge from all of you on this site. I purchased the Carb Counting Book, by The Calorie King. Thanks for that info. I look forward to connecting with all of you. Now I don't feel so all alone in this venture.

Hi there chgisgood,

Welcome to the group. You started out on this adventure about the same time as me. We certainly have seen some great changes come along, haven't we. Thank goodness no more boiling test tubes.

I was delighted to find this board and have learned some good tips here. I came here just as I began to pump in February of 2006, and the old-time pumpers really helped me out.

Again, welcome. We look forward go getting to know you and sharing information.

Mich

It's also encouraging to see that people with as much as experience as you are willing to participate and to continue to learn. We're all in this together and there's no need to be alone.
